- “ZuoKangYuan” FOS
I. Introduction
"ZuoKangYuan” is a type of FOS (Fructooligosaccharide), which is specially made by extracting a variety of immune stimulating factor (in form of extractum containing organic acids, alkaloids, volatile oil, polysaccharides, sucrose, etc.) from radix, scutellaria, dandelion, rehmannia glutinosa, honeysuckle and other natural plants with directional extraction technology, before the sucrose of the extractum is turned into FOS (Fructooligosaccharide) by means of enzymatic hydrolysis. Then the FOS is processed with carrier before drying and crushing. The product not only retains the effect of the plant immunity and promotion of plant growth, but also increases function of the FOS to regulate the micro ecological balance of animal intestine, promote digestion and absorption, prevent and treat diarrhea and constipation.

Natural plants → Orientation Extraction → Extractum (containing organic acids, alkaloids, volatile oils, polysaccharides, sucrose, inulin, etc.) → Add enzymes →
1) → Organic acids, alkaloids, volatile Oil, polysaccharides → Mixed, dried, and comminuted with carrier added.
2) → FOS (Outcome after sucrose and inulin is treated by enzymes activity.) → Mixed, dried, and comminuted with carrier added.

1) FOS has the characteristic of significantly improving the ratio of animals’ intestinal microflora. It is the factor of activating and proliferating the intestinal bifidobacteria, which can reduce and inhibit the production of the intestinal corruption substances, inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria, and regulate the intestine balance.
2) FOS can promote the absorption and utilization of the mineral Fe and Ca.
