CHARACTERISTICS:
The product is white or off yellow powder, without odor; it tastes bitter; soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in chloroform, soluble in carboxylic acid.
APPLICATION & EFFICACY:
L-Tryptophan is one of essential amino acids and the fourth limiting amino acid in animal diets. It could not be synthesized by the body. In addition, dietary supply through feed materials is usually insufficient. The deficiency of L-Tryptophan was generally characterized as decreased feed intake and efficiency, and slow growth rate. Considering L-Tryptophan playing a key role in growth performance and feed efficiency, it is recommended to add L-Tryptophan in diet to achieve the optimal amino acid balance and fulfill the digestible tryptophan requirement of animals, especially piglets, sows and poultry etc. The Adaptability includes:
-- Improve the feed quality and animal growth.
-- As feed additive, it is widely used in pig feed to add all kinds of pig feed, chicken feed, and shrimp feed, eel feed etc.
-- It is the second limiting amino acid for pigs after Lysine and improves zootechnical performance.
-- It reduces nitrogen waste in the excrement and urine of animals so that the release of ammonia is slowed and the ammonia concentration is kept low in animal shed.
-- If is used in conjunction with the lysine to further improve the quality of feed.
