DESCRIPTION:
Diatomite is a naturally occurring, soft, chalk-like, sedimentary rock mineral that is easily crumbled into a fine white to off-white powder. This powder has an abrasive feeling similar to pumice powder and is very light-weight due to its high porosity. It is made primarily of silica and consists of fossilized remains of diatoms, a type of hard-shelled algae. This product can be applied as filtration aid, mild abrasive, mechanical insecticide, absorbent for liquids, or cat litter, covering different fields and industries including food, beer, wine, paper-making and animal feeding.

EFFECT & APPLICATION:
Diatomite can be used as a single natural mineral animal feed. It contains 23 macro-elements which are iron, calcium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus, manganese, copper, aluminum, zinc, and cobalt. These materials are needed for nutrition and good growth of the animals. It has been used by many livestock and pet owners for centuries. With the increasing popularity of organic and sustainable farming methods, more and more livestock and pet owners are re-discovering the natural benefits of DE.
- The product can be used as mineral raw of animal feed. It can remove animals' internal worms, help with animals digest nutrition, reduce overall animal stress, enhance animal’s metabolism, and contribute to their growth;
- It has a high absorption capacity and makes itself an ideal product for anti-caking and feed supplement applications in animal feed;
- It is non-toxic and safe for the environment: to control fleas and ticks (with external use), eliminate and prevent worms and internal parasites without chemicals, improve coat and hoof condition, reduce odor and moisture in barns and stalls, prevent fly larvae from developing in manure and make fewer flies;
- The product is mixed with other animal feed evenly with the percent of 1‰-8% of the total.
Besides being used as the feed additive, it can also be applied for filling & padding additive for plastics, rubber, paint, fertilizer, pesticide, cement, paper, grinding, ceramics, glass, steel, decorative material, and detergent.
