APPLICATION & EFFICACY:
DL-Methionine is one of the basic units for composing the protein. It is the only sulfur bearing amino acid among the essential amino acids and it participates in the transmethylation interior the animalss’ body, the phosphorus metabolism and the adrenalin, choline and creatine synthesis. It is also the raw material of the protein and cystine synthesis. Methionine is unable to synthesize in the animal body. It must take in from food. Adding it in the feed can promote the poultry to grow, increase lean meat quantity and reduce the feeding cycle. The functions include:
-- Meliorate the balance of amino acid for metabolism and supplement the insufficiency of L-lysine in the feed stuff to promote the growth of livestock.
-- Improve the meat quality of poultry and livestock, and it can be formulated as a flavoring agent.
-- Reduce the possibility of diarrhea and help to digest.
-- Enhance the body's immune ability, effective to avoid infectious disease.
-- It has a blood pressure lowering effect.
-- DL-methionine has the same effect with L-methionine, but DL-methionine is cheaper as feed nutrition supplement.
